Description:
Suffragettes wore purple, white and green sashes and belts for official demonstrations and processions. This sash belonged to the militant suffragette Agnes Kelly. It was first worn on 21 June 1908 when Agnes attended Women's Sunday, the first set-piece demonstration organised by the Women's Social and Political Union.
